Installation
Preparation: Existing plant material is removed and 3"-4" of soil is excavated. The surface is then compacted and treated with a strong weed killer to prevent any weeds from growing up through the artificial turf.
Base: 3"-4" of Class II base is brought in and compacted to 85%. Class II base is a course silica sand that will provide a solid foundation for the synthetic turf while allowing natural drainage.
Eco Turf Artificial Grass: Eco Turf is then laid and stretched over the prepared Class II surface. The turf is trimmed to fit the area it is being installed in. Seams are fastened together, and the edges are anchored into either the Class II base material or to pressure treated lumber. Infill material, if requested, is then embedded into the turf.
